This map shows the habitat distribution for rhinoceroses in India and several other neighboring countries. The historical distribution of habitats was quite vast, stretching from Pakistan, through northern India to the eastern end of Bhutan. Sadly, this is no longer the case as currently, rhino populations have been decimated. There are several small colonies sparsely distributed across the region which have potential to expand into nearby districts. .
