Nowadays, it has become crucial to provide our society with the convenience of basic needs. The place for the environment in modern world is getting reduced day by day.  Though, many people argue that in today’s life, environment is consumed by our throw-away society and filled with rubbish. The following essay will elaborate causes and solutions.

To begin with, in our modern society people mostly consume food and drink with plastic packaging. As a consequence, nonrenewable resources are consumed at an unbelievable speed. People are becoming more selfish that throw-away all used things of daily life to the environment and making the environment ugly. Toxic rubbish like used batteries and electronic components are not only taking a lot of space of the landfill but also become hidden hazard to our environment. People dump their garbage to the rivers and streams and it becomes hard to find clean water to drink.

Last but not the least, the above-mentioned issues could be fixed. One way to tackle with the current dilemma is to keep up creating new resources which are renewable to the environment. Another way is to remove plastic bags and plastic bottle of drinks from the supermarket and it is the very first step for saving the space of our landfills. Governments should take necessary actions to control environment pollution.  General public need to be aware about the importance of protecting environment.
