Nowadays, with the advent of technological growth in modern society, the information can be accessed conveniently through the internet thus diminish the existence of the newspaper. While some people might agree with the statement of the need for the newspaper in modern society. I strongly believe that the newspapers are no longer needed in the modern society. I will further discuss my opinion in the following essay.

Firstly, for instant access to information, technology provides smartphones in modern society. So, there is no longer need for the newspaper, which is being circulated at the end of the day. As we see the drawback of the newspaper that it does not serve instant news that the technology of the modern society could provide. People can get quick news updates on the internet anytime. Moreover, many websites also provide videos and images of the incidents. In addition to, a new feature of downloading the news videos is also available these days.

Secondly, in the world of digital era where the papers are less used and digital contents are more emphasized, newspapers are becoming less popular than the digital content. Digital content can be accessed through various devices such as PC, smartphones, tablets and many more. Thus, it becomes feasible to access information wherever and whenever we want which the newspaper cannot give.

To conclude, technology has proven its existence to be fruitful by giving us instant information that newspaper could never achieve. This draws a clear signal of why newspapers are no longer the need for the modern society.
