Speaker was discussing about electric fish. According to the speaker she mentioned a lot of fishes can produce an electric shock which is very useful for navigating and locating the food. Fish also use the ability to produce and detect electrical impulses to communicate. She talked about electric rays which are interesting to medical researchers because of the organs they use to produce electricity. In the end, she mentioned, by studying these organs, scientists hope to learn more about diseases.
