While others reject this notion and argue that it is insignificant to talk. I strongly believe that medical technology has really increased the human life expectancy.
To begin with the positive side, there are persuasive advantages of the medical science. Now it has become possible to cure of life-threatening diseases like cancer, Aids which were not possible earlier. Moreover, now all the hospitals are equipped with the advanced technology so people. For instance, earlier childless couples had no hope for kids. Now with the advancement in medical science, childless couples can fulfill their desire by going through IUI and IVF.
In contrast, people who are against the medical technology argue that there are hazardous effects of these technological advances. Because radiations emitted by latest equipment for the treatment of various diseases are harmful and can lead to major side effects to body parts. For example, the laser radiations which are used to burn certain cells have adverse effects on the skin. As well as the regular health checkups are usually expensive which cannot be affordable by the patient’s family.
This essay discussed the potential benefits of medical advances and its negative impact on our health. In my view, medical technology has proven the boon for the human’s life expectancy and is evidently a savior to mankind.
