People are moving to urban areas from rural areas for better life. What do you think about?
The importance of more people moving to urban areas from rural areas for better life was always a debatable topic. Many people argue that they move to cities in order to achieve high standards of life. Others reject this notion and argue that city life is more difficult. I think, latter proposition appears to be more rational. This essay would further elaborate both sides and thus lead to a plausible conclusion.
To begin with, there are several states why people are moving to cities from villages. One vital reason for the migration is, job opportunities. They move because of better employment which are less in rural areas compared to urban life. There are also advanced transportation facilities and health facilities as compared to rural areas. Furthermore, children can get good education and this would help to build their bright future. Therefore, because of all the facilities people prefer cities.
On the other hand, migration from rural to urban areas creates many adverse impacts on the society. Life in the cities has its drawbacks. In urban areas, the cost of living is very expensive. As a result, homelessness is becoming more common factor in cities. We often see many people who do not manage their work and commit crime to survive. Life in cities can be stressful and people even don’t get much time for themselves and their families.
According to all the above points, it is evident that there is deteriorating impact on the national economy. I believe that this migration from rural to urban areas will be more stressful and creates more unemployment problem to the rural people.
