There is an ongoing debate among intellectuals regarding living in era with new inventions and these new inventions are constantly being renovated. Many people argue that in today’s life new technologies are leading people to an unhealthy life. While others reject this notion and argue that such new inventions meet people’s desire of needs. The following essay would elaborate both advantages and disadvantages of these new inventions to human life and thus lead to a plausible conclusion.

To begin with, in present world new invention is success mantra for everyone.  Technology inventions have made our life more comfortable. There are many examples to show its benefits like invention in farming has helped farmers to reduce their workload, new technology in medical sciences helped to cure many uncurable diseases such as cancer, HIV etc., learning becomes easy in schools due to the access of internet in classes. New inventions have practically solved issues within our daily work.

On the flip side, technology invention leads to more use of machinery and less human labor which results in unemployment. People are more depending on the machinery which leads to laziness. New inventions could be a threat for children. For example, children devote most of their time in playing games or watching videos on smart phones. So, instead of going outside and meet friends in the physical world, children are now more likely to stay at home, enjoying their virtual life. Thus, new invention destroys their social development. Spending too much time on a computer screen is harmful for people’s sight.

According to the arguments aforementioned, one can conclude that the invention is more boon to society than bane. In a nutshell, inventions have helped us to create a new and better world.
