Parents should be held legally responsible for their children’s acts. What is your opinion?
The importance of parent’s responsibility associated with their children acts has become a debatable topic. many people claiming that parents are fully responsible for their children’s actions, while others believe that children’s behavior does not totally depend on parents. In my opinion, parents should be legally accountable for their child’s action and behavior. The following essay will further elaborate it’s both sides and thus will lead to a plausible conclusion.
There are myriad of reasons which will further explain this argument, but the most preponderant one is stemming to the fact that children often learn from their parents in their early age, as they spend most of their time with parents. So, parents should teach their children good values. Parents should make sure they do not follow the wrong path. For example, if a child abuses his friend parents should teach them that abusing is a bad habit. Thus, the child will slowly inculcate some good habits which will further become their inbuilt attitude.
However, there are some pitfalls that negate this argument, which can certainly overwhelm this potential influence, but the most alarming one is rooted in the fact that earlier children used to play outside, but now technology has taken the space of playground. Children spend most of their time on internet or television and start imitating what they see on the television. for example, Children are influenced by their peers in schools and adopt certain behaviors from them just to impress them.
According to the arguments aforementioned, one can reach out to a conclusion that parents are fully responsible for their children behavior.
