In the lecture, the speaker is a computer science and enginering professor and her primary focus on usable privecy and security. According to the lecture, she mentioned her friend’s frustration with Security and Privacy. She talks about Passwords, where most of the people get frustrated with, people has to remember their passwords which sometimes gets very difficult to remember if you have many systems. She mentioned, in the year 2009 it was very easy as we have to have 1 special character. But again the rule changes and they require at least eight characters which includes uppercase, lowercase letter, and special characters.
