This picture shows the monthly means of total rainfall and temperature of Cape Town and Hong Kong over a year. The temperature and rainfall in Cape Town follow an opposite trend. The hottest months are from December to February and are extremely dry while the coldest months are from June to August and are a bit wet. The temperature and rainfall in Hong Kong largely correspond/follow a similar trend. June, July, August and September are hot and wet whereas winter lasts from November to March with less rainfall. In conclusion, Hong Kong is quite hot and wet as compared to Cape Town.
