The difference between fiction and nonfiction is that fiction is based on created stories and nonfiction is based on facts. Fiction includes novels, fables, cartoons, comics, and movies that can touch people’s emotions and which make people laugh and cry. Contrasted with fiction, nonfiction includes essays, journals, documentaries, and biographies and can be either true or false depending on the information the author has.
