The Government should reduce their investment in arts, music and painting. Agree or disagree?
The importance of reducing investments in art, music, and painting has become a debatable topic. Most of the people claim that it would lead to a number of concerns. But, I completely reject this statement. The following essay would further analyze the reasons why the government should not reduce investing in fine arts, music, and painting and thus lead to a plausible conclusion.
From a general standpoint, in today’s world there has been decreasing the financial budget by the government for the development of fine arts, painting, and music. The most preponderant fact is that these various forms of art are important for the growth of the nation and there is a requirement of government support to survive in the country. Thus, music and painting induce discipline as well as give chance to grow in these fields nationally as well as internationally.
Furthermore, arts have a very important with the cultural identity of the nation. Without an art, the whole life might disappear with it. Another aspect of the argument is that music and painting are two different media of expressing the emotions and this sector deserve the investment to achieve desired development. For instance, in the year 2017, the Australian government has invested 30% of its budget for the supporting the fine arts. Thus, it results in an improvement of artistic people. This example shows that why many people are in favor of dedicating the hefty amount of money in fine arts.
In conclusion, I profoundly believe that the benefits of investing in the field of art are indeed too great.
