However, this would require accurate knowledge about the conditions of other planets and galaxies, which can be acquired through space programs. Specifically, a research study conducted by Yale University in 2015 has found that there seem to be 1000 billion planets in our universe, therefore, there are most likely a great number of planets that can support human civilization. According to the above-stated examples, it illustrates that the benefit of space research is obvious, and the human’s future could be enormously and constructively affected.
